Mount Fuji and the Lawson
Tittle: Mount Fuji and the Lawson
Measurements: 33 × 23 cm (13 × 9.1 in)
Technique: Tufting, using two different pile lengths to create a subtle pop-out effect on Mount Fuji and along the outer edge of the piece, adding depth and dimension to the composition.
1/1 unique piece: This is a truly unique, one-of-a-kind piece. I never recreate the same artwork twice. Each piece exists as its own original expression.
Artist: Ale Parrado.

Inspiration:
This piece was inspired by a photograph I personally took during a trip to Japan last year. Japan has such a beautiful visual language, and Mount Fuji in particular has a presence that is difficult to capture. I wanted to bring the beauty of that moment into my own tufting technique, transforming the photograph into a tactile artwork.
In the final photo, I also share the original photograph, the drawing I created on the canvas before tufting, and the finished artwork , showing the process
from the initial image to the final piece.
Handmade Character: The artwork is entirely handmade by me, making each piece naturally organic and unique. Because of the handmade process, subtle variations and imperfections may appear, not as flaws, but as part of the character, texture, and authenticity of a piece made by hand.
The artwork is completely finished and ready to display. It has a wood-lacquered finish and comes with a string attached to the back, making it easy to hang on the wall.
